The very first program for the Kababihang MelQuinian, celebrated on the 31st day of March, year 2023, in celebration for the National Women’s Month this year 2023 with the theme “We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” was a huge success!
This is all thanks to the SSG/CIC Organizations that took the lead, along with their club advisers, the school’s beloved principal Sir Noel N. Valerio, the participation of the whole MelQuinian student body, and their supportive parents.
The program’s competition outcome was great. In each grade level, a student representative embodying the four core values: Makadiyos, Makatao, Makakalisan at Makabansa was chosen under the careful consideration of the teachers and the suggestion of their fellow students.
The competition proceeds through a mechanics wherein each contestants picture is going to be posted at the SSG/CIC Facebook Page, along with their details and campaign as the caption. Each votes is based on each reaction. The contestant with the most reactions are proclaimed the winner. It is all thanks to this that Melchora is able to identify a true Kababaihang MelQuiunian.
The SSG and CIC Organization would like to express their outmost gratitude to Barangay Tandang Sora’s Kagawad Emily Hernanzez and Kapitan Marlou Ulanday, for their tireless support to the project. It is all thanks to them that this is a huge success. Once more, thank you very much to the beloved Kagawad and Kapitan of Barangay Tandang Sora! May God bless you, and may you continue to stand by with the school in its fight for the rights of every women not only for the school’s students but also for the women of the community.
